*No make-up option offered for missed classes
*Eligible for $20 Monthly Party Pass upgrade which includes entrance to all Friday Night 8pm group class and parties for that month
TUESDAY
6:15pm - Feet Foundations w/ Kylene - Focusing on strength, stretching, and balance. Expect a mix of functional exercises, posture work, and foot articulation drills to build grace and control from the ground up. *This class prioritizes personal development over partnership work.
7:00pm - Ladies Latin Formation w/ Nicky & Kylene - This class is for ladies that commit to performing a latin formation on October 25 for TBC’s Fall Showcase.
WEDNESDAY
6:30pm - West Coast From the Beginning w/ Gil - An in depth look at this popular dance from the very beginning. We will explore connections, rhythm/timing, visuals and foot patterns to build a strong base for West Coast and all partner dances
7:15pm - Formation Rumba w/ Gil & Heather - This class is for individuals that commit to performing a rumba formation on October 25 for TBC’s Fall Showcase. Choreographed to the classic song “Cry To Me” by Solomon Burke, this may be a challenge for some dancers as the movements and concepts are well beyond the basics. Contact the instructors to get more information about this dance.
8:00pm - Stuff the Good Dancers Can Do! (Body Mechanics and Connections) w/ Gil - Become more aware of the body and how to make your body become the dance, not just executing the steps, and how to communicate those things to your partner. *This class prioritizes personal development over partnership work.
THURSDAY
5:45pm - Beyond the Steps (Exercises and Drills) w/ Gil - A study of what happens between the steps, the how and why of the steps/patterns. *This class prioritizes personal development over partnership work.
6:30pm - International Cha w/ Gil - Start from the first step of this dance and progress to dancing an entire International Cha - Cha song with confidence and style.
FRIDAY
6:30pm - Argentine Tango (Technique) w/ Dave - Move past the basics and focus on connection, balance and musicality. Argentine Tango takes a very different approach to dance - there’s plenty of fancy footwork, but it’s really all about just walking.
7:15pm - West Coast Swing - Fun with Footwork w/ Michael - This class will explore and practice footwork in passes, footwork in push and tucks, and footwork with basic whip and simple variations.
SATURDAY
11:00am - Foundations of Partnership Dances w/ Nicky - Elevate your dancing by exploring intermediate patterns in Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, ChaCha, Rumba, East Coast Swing and building expertise in individual and partnership dance skills. Must have a strong understanding of basic figures in all six dances.
*Adjustments and cancellations to various classes will be given at the beginning of each course*
